Charles Surrano bought a mid-century modern four-bedroom, five-bath, 6,291-square-foot house built in 2015 at Club Estates in Paradise Valley. The two-story estate with quartz cladding features porcelain tile and wide-plank wood floors, an exercise room, Euro-style cabinets, quartz countertops, an all-glass wine cellar, outdoor kitchen and four-car garage. Surrano is an attorney practicing insurance and corporate litigation in the Valley. The house was sold by Rich Brock, owner of Bedbrock Developers, a luxury homebuilder in Paradise Valley using a Nevada LLC.

Blaine and JoDee Bjella purchased a 12,117-square-foot estate built in 2009 on more than an acre at Diamond Point at Las Sendas Mountain in Mesa. Blaine Bjella owns three auto body and truck accessories businesses in his native Williston, N.D. This is the second house he has purchased in this neighborhood. In 2011, he and his wife bought for $2.1 million a new 8,000-square-foot estate in the Usery Mountains with a panoramic view of Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale. The current house was sold by Glen Larson, the owner of Mogul Worx, an Internet-based social networking services company, and Genesis Trade Works, a financial analysis services company, both in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Hudson Staffield, a commercial real estate investor, has been president of Staffield Family LLC and Staffield Interest Inc. in Los Gatos, Calif. The home was sold by Arlene Little, a Realtor in Carefree using an Arizona LLC. Her husband, William Little, is an attorney in Phoenix.

Demetri and Janae Panayi bought a 6,142-square-foot house with pool built in 1988 on more than two acres at Citrus Homes in the Arcadia community of Phoenix. Demetri Panayi, M.D., is an anesthesiologist practicing in the Valley. The home was sold by George and Nancy Moorehead using their family trust. George Moorehead is owner of Quassey Holdings, a transportation, trucking/railroad company based in Phoenix.

Michael and Percida Anderson used a family trust to buy a 5,381-square-foot house with pool built in 1972 on two acres at Citrus Homes in the Arcadia community of Phoenix. Michael and Percida Anderson are the principals of AZ Acquisition Specialists LLC in Scottsdale. Michael Anderson also is president, CEO and principal of Capital Fund 1, a private real estate investment firm in Scottsdale.

The home was sold by William and Angela Knutson through a Arizona LLC. Bill Knutson is the owner and co-founder of UpTown Inc., a umbrella company that includes UpTown Realty, UpTown Mortgage, UpTown Construction and UpTown Homes.

Special Collections LLC, an Ohio LLC in Carefree, bought a 7,122 square-foot house with pool built in 1998 at Carefree Air Park Estates in Carefree. The home was sold by William Hewitt. He is the principal of General Property Lending LLC based in Colorado, and General Property Mortgage in Carefree.

Yomtov Menaged purchased a 5,218-square-foot house with pool built in 2002 on the north side of The Meadows at Camino a Lago in Peoria. Menaged owns Arizona Home Foreclosures and Furniture King in Glendale. He paid $2.2 million for a 7,154-square-foot house west of the Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale in early 2013. The current house was sold by Michael and Sherry Ullery. Michael Ullery is the owner of Prestige Luxury Home Builders in Peoria.

Kathleen Rohacz used her trust to pay cash for a 3,100-square-foot house built in 1961 at Paradise Hills Estates in Paradise Valley. Rohacz and her husband, Steve Rohacz, are the principals of Satellite Operations LLC, a dealer of commercial, institutional and industrial services in Tempe; and Broadband Holdings LLC, which designs, installs, maintains and services low-voltage systems, also in Tempe. Kathleen Rohacz used her trust in July 2014 to buy a 7,405 square-foot house at Paradise Mansion Estates in Paradise Valley for $3.85 million. The house was sold by Timothy and Louise Westfall. Timothy Westfall is an attorney practicing in the Valley.

Gabriel and Hannah Woodruff bought a 5,108 square-foot house with pool built in 1984 at Copeland Hill in the Arcadia community of Phoenix. Gabriel Woodruff, DMD, practices general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry at Woodruff Dental in Scottsdale. The house was sold by Mark and Robin Gravbrot. Mark Gravbrot, DMD, practices general dentistry at Gravbrot Family Dental Clinic in Yakima, Wash.
